Restaurant consultant FAQ: cost, scope, how it works.

A

What does a restaurant consultant cost? What does an engagement typically cost?

Three ways in. The Operator's P&L Teardown is $450 USD (about SAR 1,690): a 90-minute session through your numbers line by line, plus a written one-page plan, delivered remotely. A focused One-Week Diagnostic typically falls in the low four figures. New-venue openings are quoted as a fixed fee with milestone payments. Every quote is in writing, and the Teardown fee is credited against any larger engagement.

B

Where do you actually work?

Worldwide. The founder has run hotel and restaurant operations in Canada, China and Cyprus. Site visits are scoped into the quote; diagnostics, modeling, vendor negotiation, and training run remotely with weekly video check-ins across time zones.

C

Hotels, restaurants, or both?

Both — and the F&B programs that live inside hotels. Director-level F&B across multi-property portfolios; GM-level work at the venue. If the room serves food and drink, we can likely help.

D

What does the AI advisory actually involve?

Every AI engagement opens with a tech-stack audit and an ROI-sequenced roadmap. Then: vendor selection, implementation oversight, team training, and measurement. We do not resell software.

E

What kind of operator is not a fit?

Operators looking for a rubber-stamp on a decision already made, or a permanent fractional executive on indefinite retainer. The practice is built for owners who want an outside perspective and a plan they can execute themselves.

F

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. Thirty minutes, phone or video, no card required, no obligation. The goal is to understand whether the work is a fit on both sides.
